General Information, Fall 2020

Course Description

Standard methods and tools for computational modeling and data analysis using simulation techniques, data mining, and machine learning. A continuation of CMSE 201.

What's New

  • It's week 15. No pre-class or in-class notebooks this week, the focus will instead be on the group projects. We will do group work both days this week. We will still count attendance so make sure you show up.

  • If you are having trouble getting the Homework 5 code to run, try using Google Colab . Go to the site, click "New Notebook"(bottom right) and you can run it from there. Don't struggle getting it to load locally, that really isn't the point.

    Only one class this week for both sections: Mon for Punch's class, Tue for Cheng and Caballero's class

    It's Week 13 . The preclass covers more Git material. We hope this might be helpful for the group project but if it is more than you can handle, just get what you can from it and come back sometime later.

We will be an online class with synchronous zoom meetings at the scheduled Section meeting times:
